You can take any stream at +2 to take up higher studies in Animation & Graphics. Admission to some institutions may require Mathematics to be taken up as a subject at +2. Taking Computer Science would also be of advantage if you would like to take up fields such as web designing, UI/UX designing or Game designing.
Entrance exams for UG admissions are general aptitude tests which include assessment of general awareness. You should focus on grasping important general concepts in all subjects as well as improving your language and verbal comprehension ability. Some initiation into drawing and computer graphics would also be a good way to prepare.
Students of animation and graphics subjects require good drawing skills. Also important are computer skills for taking up graphic design or for programming tasks of a higher level in UI/UX design. Developing a systematic approach and perseverance will help you take up challenging projects.
