As a product designer, you will design products for everyday use by conducting user research and user testing to enhance people’s satisfaction with the product.
Product Designers will design products by taking broad, conceptual ideas and turning them into things useful and valuable for the users. They are also required to work with graphic designers to create logos, packaging layouts, photos, and colors for packaging, instructions, displays etc.

Developing initial design of the product and discussing it with the clients
Supervising the complete process starting from selecting the raw material to processing and manufacturing the product
Evaluating the quality of the product and taking measures if there is any discrepancy
Candidates who have chosen any stream at the plus two level are eligible for higher studies in designing.
To build a career in Product Designing, you can either opt for a bachelor's degree in any discipline or opt the course B.Des which is offered at the UG level in the field of designing. The duration of these bachelor’s programs are usually 4 years.
Choice of a reputed institute for designing courses sometimes plays a great role. To specialise in product designing, it is advised to take a Master’s Degree in Designing (M.Des.).
