Chief academic officers work in collaboration with other leaders and administrators to maintain academic systems and problem-solve current challenges in the organization. They coordinate internal professional development programs for teachers and academic intervention programs and ensure that all programs, employees and departments meet performance outcomes and achieve student goals.
The superintendent hires, supervises, and manages the central staff and principals and is responsible for implementing the school board’s vision by taking important decisions regarding educational programs, finances, staff, and infrastructural facilities.

How to become an education administrator?

Step 1
Take any stream at plus two level

Students can pursue a career as education administer in future irrespective of their stream at higher secondary level. Securing good marks at this level would be a prerequisite for admission into degree level.

Step 2
Take any bachelor’s degree

Students can take any bachelor’s degree after their plus two according to their interests and aptitude. But it is important that they need to acquire or improve their soft skills in language and management.

Step 3
Take MA in Educational Planning and Administration

Master’s in educational planning and administration will give you the exposure about the field of education and its management. It is a two year program, the admission will be on the basis of merit or entrance examinations which are conducted by universities.
