Students who wish to pursue a career as a librarian, can take any stream in 12th.
To take up bachelor’s or master’s qualification in Library Science you need to have a bachelor’s qualification in any discipline. This is usually a three year course.
A one year course in Library and Information Science (BLib/BLISc)which is. This can be taken up after graduation.
After Graduation or BLib/BLISc you can take Master’s degree in Library and Information Science which is of 2 years duration.
MLISc can be taken up directly after graduation in any discipline
