How to become a Culinary Artist ?

Step 1
Take any stream in 10+2 with English (as a core course)

Students who wish to pursue a career in Culinary Arts can do plus two in any stream.All though taking home science as one amongst the subjects at the plus two level will be useful.

Step 2
Take B.Sc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration

Institutions like Institute of Hotel Management provide specialized courses in Hotel Administration and Management and the admission is based on the marks scored in NCHM JEE.

Step 3
Take M.Sc/ MBA in Hotel Management

More than the course, the institute plays a major role in Hotel management degree courses. Most common and recommendable pathway to this career is MBA in hotel management. M.Sc in Hospitality Administration is provided by the Institutes of Hotel Management.


Note :

It is necessary to pursue a diploma in Culinary Arts from any recognized institution. Then you would have to go for 6 months industrial training in any hotel 4 or 5 star in or outside India.
