How to become a Hotel Manager ?

Step 1
Take any stream at plus level

No particular stream is mandatory at plus two level for admission in to hotel management courses.


Note : Commerce Stream

Choosing Commerce stream may help you to get a basic understanding about the management course.

Step 2
Take B.A./B.B.A./B.Sc. in Hotel Management or BHM

There are various Bachelor degrees are available at the UG level in this field. You can either for three year bachelor degrees such as B.A/B.B.A/B.Sc. in Hotel Management or Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) which is of four year duration.

You can pursue diploma course in Hotel Management

Step 3
Take MA/MSc/MBA in Hotel Management or MHM

After completing UG you can go for Master’s degree courses such as MBA or MHM to get in to Administrative level positions and teaching. The duration of the courses will be of two years.
