Step 1
Take any stream at +2 level

Candidate with any stream at the plus two level is eligible for higher studies towards becoming an advertising professional. Taking up commerce stream may provide you an insight into sales and marketing fields.

Step 2
Take a Bachelor's Degree

To build a career in advertising, you can take a bachelor's degree in any discipline. However choosing a Commerce/Management related degree like BBA/BMS/BBM/B.Com or a degree in Communications/Design will be more useful. The duration of these programs is usually 3 years.

Note :

Bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Brand Management is also available in some institutions.

Step 3
Take a Master’s Degree in Management with a specialization in Advertising/Marketing MBA (Marketing)

The most common and recommendable pathway to this career is MBA in Marketing/Advertising. Masters in Management is usually a 2 years program and can be taken up after graduation in any discipline.
